Key Personalities

Prior to joining ATON in 2007 Andrey worked at the Central Bank of Russia for 13 years as head of trading in the domestic market.

He participated in the development of credit monetary policy and was also involved in controlling the activities of the Currency & Stock Exchange.

Andrey is a graduate of the Finance Academy’s Faculty of Finance and Credit.

Andrey has been involved in the Russian stock market and related activities since 1995. Prior to joining ATON as CEO in July 2008, Andrey was an advisor to ATON Group.

He holds a 1.0 qualification certificate from the Russian Federal Service for Financial Markets and the Anti-Crisis Management Qualification Certificate from the Federal Service for Insolvency and Financial Rehabilitation.

Andrey is a graduate of the State Management University, having specialised in production management.

He was named "Person of the Year 2009" by the Russian government in the category "Investment Banker of the Year" for the development of ATON’s investment business.

Prior to joining ATON, Dmitry managed the EBRD’s West Siberia Regional Venture Fund; he was first chairman of the Pyaterochka (Х5) board; and spent 10 years at Security Pacific Venture Capital Group in California and London.

Dmitry graduated with honours in Operations, Research, Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981.

He completed his MBA at Harvard Business School in 1983.

Prior to joining ATON, Kirill spent 10 years at Sovfintrade (part of the Gazprom Group).

He is a graduate of the Finance Academy’s Faculty of Finance and Credit.

Ruslan has over 11 years’ experience in corporate finance.

Before joining ATON, he was a project leader at Boston Consulting Group; the head of financial reporting at Severstal; the deputy head of financial Reporting at YUKOS; and a junior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He graduated with an MBA from London Business School in 2003, has been ACCA qualified since 2001, and has a Masters degree in Economics from The Higher School of Economics, Moscow.

Bernard has over 25 years’ experience in global stock markets

Prior to joining ATON, headed Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Russian business and before that was the Chairman of Alfa Capital’s asset management company. Previously, for nine years, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of Troika Dialog.

Bernard graduated from the University of Michigan, USA.
